This remake of 'The Bride Of Frankenstein' (1935) was expected to be released Sept. 26th 2025, but it has been very delayed.
Not a fan of the film title, surely we could make the association with the franchise more obvious.
"In 1930s Chicago, Frankenstein asks Dr. Euphronius to help create a companion. They give life to a murdered woman as the Bride, sparking romance, police interest, and radical social change."
We are very excited to see the musical element woven into this story, should be very fun.
Directed by actor Maggie Gyllenhaal, now turned director; we believe this is her directorial debut.
Features Jake Gyllenhaal, Christian Bale, Penélope Cruz, Peter Sarsgaard, Jessie Buckley, and many others.

'The Bride' will release March 6, 2026.
