Five years after surviving Art the Clown's Halloween massacre, Sienna and Jonathan are still struggling to rebuild their shattered lives. We wouldn't recommend you watch this sequel without watching the films that come before it.
We also wouldn't recommend you watch any of the Terrifier films, due to their extreme body horror and torture, somethings are better left unseen.
However, if you have become desensitized enough to this "torture porn" genre, then why not watch this Christmas themed sequel featuring the infamous Art The Clown in Santa Claus drag.
The film has been well-received by fans and critics alike, with praise for its visuals, gore, and storyline; becoming the highest grossing film in the franchise.
The film has incredible gore effects and inventive yet cruel kills; there are reports of audiences fainting and vomiting in theatres, a phenomena that was prevalent in the 1960s and 1970's.
Thornton's portrayal of Art is iconic, whimsically sick and memorable.
A bit too much effort went into the gore and little more attention should have been paid to the story and plot, but they gave the Gorehounds what they came to see.
*Spoiler: the film has an unresolved ending that isn't satisfying, clearly leading to another sequel.
Directed by Damien Leone, who has directed the entire Terrifier franchise, including the origin of Art the Clown, 'All Hallows' Eve' (2013).
