A Christmas gift gone terribly wrong!
After receiving an exotic small animal as a Christmas gift, a young man inadvertently breaks three important rules concerning his new pet, which unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous creatures on a small town.

This 80's horror comedy from the Golden Age of Cinema is a must-see classic.
Incredible sets and special effects.
The film has very memorable characters, scenes, and deaths.
The gremlins were brought to life using a combination of practical effects, including puppets, animatronics, and stop-motion animation.
To be noted: it was the 80's, the portrayal of Chinese Americans as mystical and otherworldly beings is pretty cringe to watch even if no harm was meant.
Directed by Joe Dante, known for 'The Howling' (1981), 'Piranha' (1978), and 'Gremlins 2: The New Batch' (1990).
