Black Christmas
1974
Bob Clark
Horror, Gore, Christmas, Mystery, Original, Slasher, Very Scary, Must-See
This horror masterpiece is a must-see terrifying cult classic. During their Christmas break, a group of sorority girls spending the holiday at their sorority house are stalked by a stranger.
This Slasher is not only the best Christmas horror film ever made, it is also one of the best Slashers ever made, and is often credited as one of the earliest slasher films that helped define the genre. The film combines suspense, horror, and a claustrophobic atmosphere to create a sense of dread. It also features strong elements of mystery, as the identity of the killer is not revealed until the climax. The use of POV shots from the killer's perspective was groundbreaking at the time and has since become a staple in the slasher genre.
Directed by Bob Clark, known for 'Porky's' (1981) and 'A Christmas Story' (1983).
Features Olivia Hussey, Keir Dullea, Margot Kidder, John Saxon, Marian Waldman, Andrea Martin, and others.
