"Follows a hapless courier tasked with delivering a package to a remote hospital. He soon finds himself caught in the middle of an outbreak and must fight through hordes of mutated creatures to survive."
This is not a sequel or a remake, it will be a spin-off from the 'Resident Evil franchise which concluded in 2016.
The film will take place within the same universe, but it will follow the story of new characters, following a popular trend in franchises in 2020's.
Directed by the rising star, Zach Cregger, known for Weapons (2025) and Barbarian (2022)
It will star Austin Abrams.

The 'Resident Evil' spin-off will release September 18, 2026.
