This is a new remake of The Mummy (1932), not a reboot of the previous franchise or related to the standalone 2017 film.
Described as "breathing modern life into ageless evil", we expect this remake to take place in 2025 and to have lots of children based on the casting.
Directed by Lee Cronin, known for Evil Dead Rise (2023), he definitely has not made enough films to be putting his name in the movie title yet.
Features Veronica Falcón, Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Billie Roy, Hayat Kamille, Natalie Grace, Shylo Molina, and May Elghety.
In theatres April 17, 2026.
