This standalone sequel in the Evil Dead Universe is one of the most anticipated films of 2026, particularly since it will star rising heart throb Hunter Doohan.
Like the two newer films in the franchise, it will follow new characters encountering the Necronomicon and battling demonic forces, not the original story with Ash.
Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, known for Infested (2023).
The director of the original series, Sam Raimi, is a writer on the project.
It will feature Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright, Maude Davey, Polly Keanu, Karim Jared, and Victory Ndukwe.
In theatres July 24, 2026.
