A must-see masterpiece, this slow and creepy, black and white flick is beyond beautiful.
The gill man became an instant part of Americana, there are two sequels.
The iconic scene where she is swimming and the monster is following her; people in the theatres screamed and viewers reported having nightmares for weeks.
We recommend watching this film alone, and maybe watching The Shape of Water the same weekend.
Features Julie Adams, Richard Carlson, Ben Chapman and Ricou Browning as the creature.
