The Final Wish

We think this is an underrated fun popcorn movie (not just because we stan Lin Shaye), it is obviously a classic genie movie with wishes, but it also veers into modern paranormal territory.
A huge bonus is that 'The Final Destination' franchise creator Jeffrey Reddick is the writer, and it has so many incredible deaths that are right out of one of those movies.
The film is suspenseful although the pace could have been faster, the plot is good but mostly predictable, and it has some scares but could have been scarier.
It is worth watching for the creative grim deaths, the moody atmosphere, some stellar acting from Lin Shaye, some good character development, and a great final twist.
