If you loved Carrie, you will love this must-see classic which has a similar protagonist and plot.
Although this is the prequel to the original film, we recommend you start the franchise here.
Interestingly, this prequel and the original were filmed the same year, which is highly irregular.
The franchise revolves around the personality of Pearl, and we are so glad they also made this origin story with the same lead actress.
Fair warning, there is some gory murders and scenes that are very uncomfortable to watch.
The set, costumes, atmosphere, special effects gore, and cinematography are incredible; matched by the stellar acting.
