Does the masterpiece 'American Psycho' (2000) need a remake?
No, it absolutely does not, but seeing as it has been more than 25 years since the original, someone was bound to take a swing at it eventually.
Austin Butler is rumoured to be cast in the star roll as serial killer Jason Bateman, but many other actors have publicly stated there desire to have the role, like Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Directed by Luca Guadagnino, known for the remake 'Suspiria' (2018).
We expect this remake to stay true to the novel but to be set in present day with modern themes, perhaps there will be social media instead of business cards.
