Curse of Aurore

At first, we thought this wasn’t good enough to make it on the site, but the film stayed in our memory for months.
Sadly, the plot of the film, going to investigate a murder story, is based on a real-life child that died of severe child abuse.
We love the setting in rural and long inhabited Quebec Canada, it is eerie and feels somewhat lost to time and Catholicism, but also as backwoods as the Louisiana bayou.
The film is creepy and terrifying at times, tension building with scary events, and also has surprisingly good acting for a low budget Found Footage film.
Cast features no notable actors.
