This sequel was filmed back to back with the spin-off 28 Years Later (2025), and fittingly, it is scheduled to release 28 weeks after the last film.
We have gotten a director switch, Nia DaCosta directs this second installment in the spin-off, they are known for the sequel 'Candyman' (2021).
It will feature Alfie Williams, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O’Connell, Ralph Fiennes, Cillian Murphy, Chi Lewis-Parry, Emma Laird, Maura Bird, Erin Kellyman, and others.
