The Woman In The Yard

This unique film gives us a fresh, thrilling, and thought provoking story with a serious twist.
While this film is rated PG-13, it's on the scarier side for teens and is definitely not family-friendly.
We think this film could have been MUCH scarier, it does a great job building up fear but doesn't capitalize on it, there was so much potential to make this an absolute screamer, and an intense score would have helped.
Directed by rising star Jaume Collet-Serra, know for 'Orphan' (2009) and 'House Of Wax' (2005).
If you disliked 'The Damned' which came out the same year, you will almost certainly dislike this film.
We wouldn't say that the director was fully successful in telling this story, a little half baked, it was really missing some scenes that resolved discrepancies in the plot, something that 'Saltburn' (2023) did excellently.
We aren't able to say much without spoiling the film, we recommend not reading reviews or having expectations.
