'We bury The Dead' premiered at SXSW Film Festival in 2025 and was widely praised with strong ratings.
The production was filmed in Tasmania Australia; Hilditch (director) said “Tasmania gave us this haunting, isolated landscape. It feels like the end of the world, which is exactly what the film needed.” {collider.com}
Hilditch (director) also had this to say “I didn’t want to make just another zombie movie. This is about grief, survival, and the human cost of war. The undead are part of it, but the real horror is what Ava has to face emotionally.” {screenrant.com}

Directed by rookie Zak Hilditch, he has made some horror adjacent films, we expect this to be a breakout film for him.

'We Bury The Dead' will be in theatres January 2, 2026.
