This is a cute ‘witches coming of age’ story that some nostalgic Millennials will love to introduce to their kids.
The movie is based off of a book, but really doesn’t skim the surface of the book’s depth.
Interestingly, these twin sister actors had their own tv series in the 90’s with a similar plot.
This is a fun and cheesy ‘good vs evil’ film with some magic for the whole family to enjoy.
It’s fun to see turn of the century CGI, yes that was as good as it got back then with a low budget.
It’s also nice to have a Disney story with POC, used to be almost nothing.
