This teen drama Sci-Fi film has become a cult classic, and it absolutely oozes 90's nostalgia and Americana, so much fashion inspiration for Gen Z viewers to steal.
The story is reminiscent of 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' (1978).
The film has great special effects and gore, fun camera work, and excellent characterization complemented by a great orchestral score.
There is also some good laughs, we wish the film didn't drag a bit, but overall it's a great film to watch if you are in the mood to travel back to the 90's.
The star studded cast features Elijah Wood, Josh Hartnett, Clea DuVall, Jordana Brewster, Shawn Hatosy, Laura Harris, Salma Hayek, Famke Janssen, Piper Laurie, Robert Patrick, Bebe Neuwirth, and others.
