Frankenweenie

This is another wonderfully spooky Burton film for the whole family to enjoy.
We love that the excellent stop motion animation is in black and white and is in Burton's famous style, with whimsically grotesque characters and imagery.
We suppose, technically this a remake of Frankenstein, but it is also reminiscent of many other films like 'Pet Sematary' and 'Edward Scissor Hands'.
Although we enjoyed this film, we think the story goes a little off the rails and probably should have been more of a solemn lesson about death for kids.
We hope your kids get a thirst for Black & White films and ask to see more.
