A mind-f*ck if there ever was one, this film is definitely cuckoo, a wild ride.
The film's strength lies in its atmospheric visuals and committed performances, particularly from Schafer and Stevens.
However, the increasingly convoluted plot and lack of coherent explanations detract from the overall experience of the bizarre happenings.
The film's score is great, adding to the eerie and unsettling atmosphere.
If this type of film is your fave, you will absolutely love this plot as it spins out of control, and if you don't like this type of film, you will be annoyed and completely lost.
