The Dark And The Wicked

This paranormal flick is extremely disturbing from beginning to end; unfortunately it is not that scary, and oddly, we only get to see the demon for a split second at the beginning.
The director does a good job building fear, aided by a great menacing score, we really enjoyed the unique and creepy diary reading.
Overall, the film is worth watching but it feels unfinished and like it could have reached more success with a bigger production budget.
Director Bryan Bertino is also known for 'The Strangers' (2008) and is directing the yet to be released and very delayed 'Vicious' (2025).
