This film was a smash hit when it was released, so freaking 80's, people dressed up in costume as the Ghostbusters for a solid decade, Gen X and Millennials definitely think fondly of this nostalgic film.
However, when you watch this film today it's pretty strange, the story is very silly and confusing, and also the 80's script is pretty cringe.
All of the men are super horny and relentless pigs, just leave her alone guys, keep it in your pants.
We love the old shots of NYC which has a much shorter skyline and a lot less glass.
That theme song is so iconic, possibly the most iconic movie theme song ever.
The special effects were ground breaking, especially the CGI, a ghost blow job???
There are 3 sequels and remake, all with varying success.
