Another tech horror and welcome addition, we love this fresh idea.
Interestingly, the film is based off of an actual app, but most Millennials probably remember the OG, https://www.death-clock.org/
The film successfully builds a tense atmosphere and there is real sense of urgency, great score.
While the idea is unique, the formula is reminiscent of other tech horror films like 'The Ring' (2002) and 'Polaroid' (2019).
As expected, Lail gives an excellent performance as the protagonist, but we would have liked some more character development for the rest of the cast.
The film is thrilling and frightening, with several jump scares and some gore.
If you're in the mood for a quick, adrenaline-pumping thriller, it's worth a watch, great directorial debut for Dec.
