Friday The 13th

This is the first film that you must watch first before the dozen sequels, most are not worth watching.
While the film is a classic, and Jason is an infamous horror villain, we don’t put this in the must-see category, it feels like it is trying to steal pieces of success from other films.
The film is quite slow paced for a modern audience, isn’t very good at building tension, the acting and script also leaves much to be desired, and there is almost no character development.
The films eerie score shines and the gory death scenes are excellent.
The good sequels are included in our catalogue.
