The Pyramid

This underrated and little known film is a unique atmospheric gem.
The film style is Found Footage, camera work is pretty good, not too shaky; and interestingly there are also shots worked in that are not Found Footage, highly unusual.
What we really love about this film is the use of Egyptian Mythology, very refreshing and original story that you would expect to fall under the Mummy genre, but it doesn't.
There is a jump scare so good it might make you spill the popcorn, but overall it is mid-scary.
There is some good gore and deaths, the score keeps the pace thrilling, and the CGI is decent for a film from the early 2010's.
The dialogue and acting could have been better, but it isn't terrible.
