8 years after the success of Blair Witch, this film catapulted the found footage genre into the mainstream and was wildly successful, spawning a franchise of 7 films.
It’s a little painful to watch in the beginning as they didn’t use a steady cam and the lighting is awful, but that gives it authenticity.
Most of the film takes place in a single room, thankfully the camera is on a tripod.
The film expertly creates suspense and tension, you are going to be uncomfortable, very creepy events and good scares.
Some eye candy too, attractive actors in their skivvies most of the film, you will see every pair of boxers Micah owns haha
