This sequel is intense right from the beginning, so good, watching the first film is absolutely required.
We are back just 6 months after the first film, never fear, Team America is here to save the day lol.
This is a pretty gruesome film that uses a unique filming style; if the gore doesn’t make you feel sick, the camera work certainly will, you may get some nausea at the beginning.
With this sequel you will see how a government could react to the apocalypse, and of course more human nature for thought.
The film is packed with action, suspense, and graphic gore; such a thrill ride!
Carlyle reprises his role and gives another great performance, good acting all around.
There is a bit less character development in this film, sacrificed for more action, and the plot could have been more well thought out, but overall this is an excellent must-see sequel.
Good news! Another sequel, '28 Years Later' will be released in 2025 and we can't wait.
Star studded cast includes, Idris Elba, Jeremy Renner, Rose Byrne, Harold Perrineau, Imogen Poots, and others.
