Return To Oz

46 years after the original film, we are back on the yellow brick road for another adventure with Dorothy…but all is not well in Oz.
This is a sequel but it could not be more different than the original, kind of like an alternate reality.
First of all, obviously the actor playing Dorothy has changed (replaced with a younger child actor), but more importantly the entire tone has drastically changed, this is a very dark but magical story, and it is not a musical.
Full of great special effects, animatronics, insane sets and costumes, it is just an absolute feast for the imagination.
What we really love is Dorothy's new alternate reality sidekicks, one of which is the embodiment of Halloween!
This film was not met with a good reception when it was released, but today it has become a well-loved cult classic.
