This must-see modern masterpiece perfectly blends the Rom-Com and Slasher genres like never before, seriously though... this has never been done, we have only ever had Zombie Rom-Coms.
Both of these genres are full of tropes and clichés that the film skillfully incorporates into the plot to heighten the comedy, it is wonderfully self-aware without going full meta like the 'Scream' franchise.
The film is filled with genuine laughs, scares, and some great gory and violent kills certain to thrill veteran horror fans and terrify rookies.
A departure from norms of both genres, the film has excellent acting and dialogue, with the leads both giving great performances.
We love the unique and campy mask of the villain, but how do they see anything??
This might be the standout film of 2025 that has staying power, sure to be rewatched on February 14th for decades to come.
If we could change one thing, a little sex and nudity could have added to this romance, particularly when you choose such gorgeous leads.
